During our data collection process and outreach screening camps, we identified three individuals who had completed hepatitis C treatment four years ago through using Sofosbuvir and Daclatasvir for a duration of 12 weeks but had not undergone sustained virologic response (SVR) testing.
Following counselling, all three individuals voluntarily consented to SVR testing and were conducted at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) in July 2025 which indicated treatment failure of all three individuals.
Subsequently, CoNE team provided support to facilitate the initiation of re-treatment at the model treatment centre, JNIMS using Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir for 12 weeks.
